From the creative mind of Stephen Warwick comes a new project Ancient Cities. Joining forces with long time friend and fellow musician, Justin Fedor, the two have brought their psychedelic-pop sound to life.
Songwriter, DJ, and part-time actor Warwick grew up in North Carolina. He gained notoriety with his former band Secondhand Stories releasing a solo album entitled Talking Machine in 2010, which landed on Shuffle Magazine’s top 10 list of that year. Warwick also received Creative Loafing’s Critic’s Choice award for best local songwriter and has song’s featured in director Mark Young’s 2014 film ‘Wicked Blood’ starring Abigail Breslin.
Fedor, a native to New Hampshire and raised in North Carolina, is the founding member of the Americana-rock act The New Familiars. They have toured the US since 2006, playing with legends like Levon Helms, Gregg Allman, Dr. Ralph Stanley to name a few. The New Familiar’s debut album ‘Between The Moon & Morning Light” charted in the top 25 for Americana Radio in it’s first year of release.
