In 2010 guitar vocalist Jade Werth met saxophonist Jack Johnson at an open mic night in Raleigh, NC, where they formed the band, “Apples and Airplanes.” With the acquisition of bassist Matt Voos, trumpeter Daniel Grooms, and drummer, Nate Brisson, what started as a duo, soon grew to become a five-piece, high-energy, multi-instrumental band.
