Cara Yates lives in Raleigh. She was immersed in music from a very early age. Born a natural, she shared music with every family member, from grandparents to cousins, who all sang and played multiple instruments. She was singing solo parts with the church choir at age 8 and performed in many productions in high school along with rock band, Gypsy, formed by her music teacher, Rebecca Rose. She has been the lead vocalist for bands in WV, NJ, GA, NV and NC over the past 28 years and is currently the lead singer for Raleigh based Dixon Bridge.
