We are Circle City, Pittsboro’s all-stars and outstanding community citizens. About 75% of our music is homemade and weaves around a lot of melody changes that some might say is kind of psychodelicate but I say, pretty predictable, solid hooks.
We are seasoned musicians who believe in starting the song on time and not talking too much at the microphone unless it’s for community announcements (feel free to submit on a notecard). We are inspired by all genres but most aligned with straight up rock. Cover tunes range from McCartney to Neil to Squeeze. Dave Brooks, bass guitar (although Dave plays a smokin’ 6 string in our set). Fred Royal, drums (although Fred plays a smokin’ acoustic in the set) and Tracy Lynn, guitar (although Tracy plays a thumpin’ bass, too). All said, we are a versatile, fun, positive musical energy force with GREAT harmonies, lacking a huge musical ego, and delivering quality music to willing listeners who love and support local, live music.
