The members of Doctor Captain and the Fleet have been playing together for many years. Having met in their youth, the members grew up together in and around Greensboro, NC. After pursuing various musical and artistic studies at universities around the country, the six finally returned home to put down roots. Finally reunited, the group immediately formed the musical project Doctor Captain and the Fleet.
