Both Erin and Paul Ezekiel began writing music together in 2005. Erin having a background in musical theater, Indian Classical music studies (taught by Maestro Ali Akbar Khan), African spiritual music studies (taught by Bill Bell and the Oakland Bay Area Community Chorus). Paul had studied for many years with well known drum instructor Chuck Brown, and had managed recording studios in Ashland, OR, and San Anselmo, CA. It wasn’t until their wedding in 2008 that they played their music live for family and friends. This inevitably led to them quitting their day jobs and officially starting their music career with small local gigs and a self-titled EP.
