Folk-punk-bluegrass with a dash of classic rock that’ll leave you feeling like you’ve danced a jig, reveled into that good night, and been knocked in the head with a hammer–that’s Filthy Still. With two albums under their belt (‘All Bottled Up’ & ‘The Last Six Feet’), they’ve been touring hard and nearly non-stop since coming together in June, 2010, in Providence, Rhode Island. Filthy Still was formed in the historic Federal Hill neighborhood and the original band members were Jesse Roderick (vocals/guitar), Matt Olson (lead guitar/banjo), and Jeremy Garland (drums). In addition to Roderick, Olson and Garland, the band grew this year to include Jared McGovern on stand-up bass and Liz Sloan on the fiddle.
