Steeped in (but not limited to) a traditional jazz repertoire, Fusion Collective South has featured several Triangle-based jazz musicians; but similar to its northern parent (Fusion Collective “North”), it maintains its core members. While inspired by the original Fusion Collective, FCS has taken on an identity all its own. More recently, FCS has featured more funk/fusion/contemporary tunes, with the intention of having a more modern and vibrant sound.
