Hair by Kevin is an acoustic rock duo that pairs Paul Daniel and Dave Harrell – two singer/songwriters who are no strangers to the local music scene. Paul has played many times around the Triangle in support of his two albums “Shine in Use” and “Here Tomorrow, Gone Today.” He writes songs with vivid scenes and lingering lyrics. Always honest and incisive, Paul puts his heart on display, but isn’t afraid to call it the way he sees it. His work draws influences from, rock, blues, country, bluegrass and folk. Dave is a longtime veteran of the Triangle music scene having been the creative force and lead guitarist for several rock bands including “The Second” and most recently “Crave.” Dave has played in support of national acts including Hootie & the Blowfish and the Black Crowes. His songs pack a punch – powerful, reflective and always memorable. They feel classic and yet refreshingly new. When paired together, the result is Hair
