Emerging from the Raleigh underground, The Manimals are a three piece rocknroll band in its most classic sense. Fueled by deep fuzz and heavy riff progressions, The Manimals boast live sets that can entrance it’s audience in a psychedelic glaze and then drive them into a dancing frenzy with wailing vocals from Turner, Northrup, and Bishal. Their stage presence is undeniable as they thrash around the stage all night, only stopping to take sips of PBR and give the occasional shot-out to the under appreciated bartender. Drawing upon the influence of early 1970′s heavy rocknroll, The Manimals have created a fellowship of tightly tuned, well-blended originals that showcase not only individual skill but also their ability to feed off one another to enter new musical domains.
