Matty Begs hails from Eastern North Carolina and is led by Acoustic guitarist and songwriter Matty Russo. Matty enlists personal reality as his muse and infuses the songs he writes with upbeat melodies while Ellis Ramey (drums), Matthew Bergenn (bass), David Hathaway (keyboards), and Bo Faulkner (lead guitar) breathe life into the songs by threading in eclectic beats, grooving bass, and jam driven keys/guitar, that ultimately give Matty Begs its “funky feel-good jam rock sound.”
