Old Play is an energetic, local dad-band covering four decades of classic, nostalgic, and eclectic crowd pleasers–including The Rolling Stones, R.E.M., Tom Petty, Green Day, The Killers, Goo Goo Dolls and many more. Blending guitars, rhythms, vocals and a strong sense of humor, Old Play delivers a night of good music and good fun.
The band members include: Jon Hagar (keys/vocals)–who comes from a musical family, Blain Dillard (guitars/vocals)–will don a black cowboy hat for at least one song, Matt Benson (bass/vocals) is currently teaching his newborn son the trade, Brian York (guitars/comedy) will insert comedic remarks between songs, and Greg Diagonale (drums/percussion) started playing in high school and hasn’t grown much since then.
