Ruffin McCoy was born at a very early age and grew up in Holly Springs, North Carolina; and has always had a love for the world of sound. At age 11, Ruffin began playing guitar, but it wasn’t until he got his first electric bass at 14 did Ruffin really begin to devote his life to the practice of music. The multi-instrumentalist and singer has progressed through the years by playing in many bands, listening, and composing his own music. Ruffin’s music is drawn from a wide variety of genres including metal, progressive rock, classical, jazz, and folk among others
