Steelwater began in Raleigh around 1995. The band took a hiatus in 2007, and after some personnel changes began to rock again in 2009. Led by founding member and guitar hero Lee McCall, fronted by Bart Hipp, and supported by rhythm giants Philip Rasmus on drums and Gerritt Raterink on bass.
Steelwater plays a wide range of styles and familiar songs with one goal: Keep the party moving! Our fans constantly tell us we have the best mix of tunes in town. You can find us playing clubs all over Raleigh and the surrounding area with a great attitude, professional sound, and fine musical chops. We’re always booking, so get in touch!
