Stephen Corbett has been singing for as long as he can remember learning how to put words together. He started writing song lyrics when he was 12, but it was some years before he finally got a guitar and learned how to write music.
Corbett’s songs are about loss, longing, redemption, depression, bottles that are always half-empty, cars that are always out of gas, guns that never hit their intended target, love that never lasts, and destinations that are never reached. To paraphrase Hank Williams, he writes about pictures from life’s other side.
