Taylor cut his teeth on stage with a local Jimmy Buffett cover band, then went on to spend 12 years as one of the busiest solo entertainers around. During two years in New Mexico he fronted classic rock bands, which made him determined to work on original material when he returned to San Diego in 2001. His first solo CD, “No Loitering,” was very well rece…ived and left lots of friends and fans anxiously awaiting the next one. Taylor knew that the next effort would only sound better with a full-time band, and recruiting for The Taylor Harvey Band began.
