The Carrborators hail from the heart of the North Carolina Piedmont. Their music is rooted in the contemporary singer-songwriter tradition, but fortified with a healthy dose of rock-and-roll and tempered with a sweet dusting of bluegrass. Live performances feature 2, 3, and 4 part vocal harmonies backed by guitar, fiddle, bass, and harmonica. The band’s repertoire includes original compositions, along with a mix of material by contemporary artists like Gillian Welsh, Darrell Scott, Tim O’Brien, and Crosby, Stills and Nash.
