The LIDS are a 7 member classic rock cover band that has been in existence for 7 years. We cover musical periods from the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s as well as some R&B and contemporary tunes. We focus on material that people recognize and love to dance to. We are fronted by a talented female lead vocalist with instrumental accompaniment on lead guitar, keyboards, drums, bass and sax. Two of our members also double on rhythm guitar and Hammond B-3 organ. We have played many venues around the Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Durham and Hillsborough area including summer festivals such as the Carrboro Music Festival as well as worthy benefits.
