The Reckless Brothers started in 2011, when the group met on a musical whim.
Ben Parker and Robert Thornhill wanted to develop a group that harnessed the styles of former bluegrass duos of the 1930′s with a touch of new input and refreshing stylistic drive. With the addition of Andrew Small, upright bass virtuoso and avid folk fiddler/banjoist, the group solidified itself as a diverse experimental acoustic group willing to tackle any genre, while creating a style of its own.
Through a balance of dynamic rhythms and harmonies, The Reckless Brothers re-ignites country, rock, gypsy and bluegrass tradition to make for an exciting yet intimate show.
