The Trailers emerged from the wreckage of Raleigh cover band Groove Tractor relatively unscathed. The four remaining Tractor parts- Ron Birtles on drums, Nicole Carroll on vocals, Tim Carroll on bass, and Scott Percy on guitar- decided to forge ahead in a different direction, with a focus on straightforward rock and less pop.
