The Kraken is pleased to host an established group of Old Time String Band players on the first and third and occasional fifth Tuesdays of the month… you know, the odd ones.
We’ve been blessed to host these wonderful musicians for over a month now. There have consistently been anywhere from 15-30 players, including new folks joining in.
Every week, more and more folks come out to enjoy their music, if not sit slightly outside the circle and join in.
If you don’t play Old Time strings, keep in mind that spoons, stand-up bass, and harmonicas are being played… not to mention eventual clogging lessons that regularly occur in the background.
If nothing else, you may want to warm up for The Rowdy Square Dance that’s coming up again on October 17th! Come on out and have a great time!
