Johnson Taylor was born in Fayetteville NC. In 2009, he and his family lost everything they owned, including two beloved dogs, in a tragic house fire. Johnson was able to salvage his guitar his older brother had got him for his birthday that year, and has been writing songs ever since.
His style can be described as a mix of Ed Sheeran and John Mayer, with catchy chorus lines as well as tight and creative chord progressions. With a soulful attitude and a laid back style, his music can please crowds old and young alike.
